SMS Terms of Service

Program Description
Deskmatic provides SMS notifications to business owners who subscribe to our AI phone receptionist service. By opting in to SMS notifications, you agree to receive the following types of text messages from Deskmatic:
- Call summaries — Formatted text summaries of calls handled by your AI receptionist, including caller name, phone number, reason for calling, and AI recommendations
- Verification codes — One-time codes to verify your phone number for account security
- Urgent call alerts — Notifications for high-priority or emergency calls that require immediate attention
- Service notifications — Important account updates such as usage limits, subscription changes, or service disruptions
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your call volume. You may receive up to 50 messages per day depending on how many calls your AI receptionist handles. Most users receive 1-10 messages per day.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Deskmatic does not charge for sending SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging fees. Check with your carrier for details about your text messaging plan.
Opt-In
You opt in to receive SMS notifications by:
- Checking the SMS consent checkbox during account onboarding
- Enabling SMS notifications in your account settings
- Replying START or YES to our SMS number
Your consent is not a condition of purchase. You can use the Deskmatic service with email notifications only.
Opt-Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message from Deskmatic
- Disabling SMS notifications in your account settings
After sending STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message. You will not receive any further SMS messages unless you opt back in.

Supported Carriers
SMS notifications are supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most MVNOs. Carrier support may vary.
Privacy
Your phone number and messaging data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or opt-in status with third parties for marketing purposes.
Changes
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Continued receipt of messages after changes constitutes acceptance.
